Reliance company said on Sunday that the decision to increase the price of pre-paid service will be applicable on JioPhone plans, unlimited plans and data add-ons. Duty on these has been increased from 19.6 percent to 21.3 percent.

The company said in its statement, ‘Jio announces to increase the rates of its new unlimited plans. These plans will give the best value in the telecom sector. The company said that it will continue to live up to its promise of providing quality service despite the lowest rates.

Jio company said that the new tariff rates for its pre-paid will be effective from December 1. These can be activated through Jio’s existing touchpoints and channels.

According to sources, after this decision of the company, Jio’s Rs 75 monthly plan will be Rs 91 from December 1. At the same time, the pre-paid plan of Rs 129 will become Rs 155 and the plan of Rs 399 will be Rs 479. Similarly, the company’s plan of Rs 1299 will increase to Rs 1559 and Rs 2399 plan to Rs 2879.
Jio company said that the prices of its data top-ups plan will also increase. His 6 GB plan for Rs 51 will now become Rs 61. At the same time, 12 GB plan will be priced at Rs 121 for Rs 101. Whereas the 50 GB plan available for Rs 251 will become Rs 301.
