Islamabad: Becoming a Field Marshal in Pakistan means being above the law, i.e. a Field Marshal cannot be prosecuted in any court of Pakistan. So now whatever Asim Munir            ( Munir ) does, no case will be filed against him. He has become above the law of Pakistan. Asim Munir is the second person to become a Field Marshal in the 78-year history of Pakistan. Earlier in 1959, Ayub Khan, who seized power by overthrowing the government, had given himself the rank of Field Marshal. However, Army General Asim Munir has also made himself a Field Marshal, although the only difference is that he got this decision approved by the government and got it announced by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Remember, the post of Field Marshal is lifelong. If someone wants to separate himself on his own will, it is his own will, but no one can remove him. The most important thing is that no one can remove him from the post. For example, the Prime Minister can remove the Army Chief, this option is in the constitution, but no one can remove a Field Marshal, this post remains with him for life.

Got five stars on his uniform

General Asim Munir was the Army Chief before this, who is a four-star general, but the rank of a Field Marshal is of five stars. The officer who shows extraordinary bravery in war is given the rank of Field Marshal, but anything can happen in Pakistan. The Army Chief does whatever he wants, so even after getting badly beaten up in Operation Sindoor, General Asim Munir shamelessly got one more star on his uniform.

Munir will not leave the post of Army Chief

People of Pakistan believe that Asim Munir will also remain the Army Chief. Because the real power lies with the General. Field Marshal is just an honorary rank and that is why Asim Munir will keep the power of Army Chief in his hands and he is also sure to get an extension of two years as Army Chief. Although the tenure of the Army Chief in Pakistan was three years, but last year Shahbaz Sharif changed the law and increased the tenure of the Army Chief from three years to five years.

Asif should have declared Munir the king

Asim Munir’s tenure as Army Chief is going to end on 29 November but it is certain that Munir will get an extension.. and he will remain the Chief of the Pakistani Army till 2027. Leaders of Imran Khan’s party have expressed strong displeasure over Asim Munir being made Field Marshal. Imran’s sister Aleema Khan said that instead of making Asim Munir Field Marshal, Shahbaz Sharif should have declared Asim Munir the king of Pakistan.
