29 Naxalites including 7 women surrendered  (29 Naxalites ) 

Narayanpur: 29 Naxalites  (29 Naxalites )  including 7 women surrendered before security forces in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. Police officials gave this information. Officials said that 29 Naxalites including 7 women working under Kutul Area Committee surrendered. He said that Jantana Sarkar President and President of Naxalite Medicine Branch Budhram Vadda (39) is also among the surrendered Naxalites.

Incentive amount of Rs 25 thousand to surrendered Naxalites.

What is the reason for surrender by Naxalites?

Narayanpur District Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar said that the biggest reason for surrender by Naxalites is the development work being carried out in the district. He said that the Naxalites of this area have been influenced by the rapidly building roads in the area and various facilities reaching the villages, due to which they are getting disillusioned with the ideas of the Naxalite organization.

Kumar said that the security forces continuously setting up camps in the interior areas and the aggressive operations being carried out in the area and the fear of being killed have also inspired them to leave the organization. He said that this success has been achieved during the ‘Maad Bachao Abhiyan’ going on in the area.

Incentive amount of 25 thousand to surrendered Naxalites
The police officer said that more than 71 Naxalites have surrendered in the district since the year 2024 and during this period the security forces have killed more than 60 Naxalites and arrested 50 Naxalites. He said that an incentive amount of Rs 25 thousand was provided to the surrendered Naxalites. Along with this, they will be given the benefit of the facilities available under the Naxal Eradication Policy.
