Dense fog affects flight services( fog)

New Delhi: Dense fog  ( fog) has covered many areas of NCR including Delhi and Noida. According to the information, visibility has become very low in many areas of Noida due to dense fog. Visibility has reduced to 50-100 meters at many places. A thick layer of dense fog is seen in many areas including Sector 83, Sector-85, Sector 82, Sector 93 of Noida till 9-10 pm on Friday night. Dense fog is also present in Noida and Greater Noida. Apart from this, dense fog is seen in many areas of Delhi, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad.

Many drivers on the road in Noida were seen driving while blowing the horn continuously. A passenger said that there is so much fog that it is difficult to see anyone in front. Almost zero visibility is also being seen at many places.

Dense fog will prevail on Saturday morning as well

According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog can be seen in the entire NCR including Delhi and Noida on Saturday morning as well. There is a possibility of very dense fog on January 3-4 late night and morning. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding dense fog in Delhi-NCR. The weather forecast has indicated the minimum temperature to be 8 degrees Celsius.

There will be no relief from fog till January 6

IMD has also predicted that light to moderate rain may occur in Delhi and Noida on Monday, January 6. Visibility is expected to be very low in the morning, evening and night in Delhi till January 6. That is, lakhs of people of Delhi-Noida may have to face dense fog till Monday.

The IMD said that there was very dense fog at Indira Gandhi International Airport and visibility was recorded at zero meters. According to the department, all runways are working under CAT-3, which allows aircraft to take off even in low visibility conditions. An official said that more than 100 flights were delayed at Delhi airport due to bad weather.
