Lucknow: UP ATS (UP ATS ) arrested a Bangladeshi man named Siraj along with his wife Halima from Aligarh. Siraj is a resident of Faridpur district of Bangladesh. According to the information received, Siraj had crossed the Benaful border with the help of brokers and came to India. He also got Indian documents and passport made. Siraj has also traveled to Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh and Dubai on the basis of these documents. Apart from Siraj, his wife has also traveled to Bangladesh several times with an Indian passport.
Have traveled to many countries
Actually, for some days UP ATS was receiving information that some citizens of Bangladesh are coming to India by crossing the India-Bangladesh international border illegally. These people have settled in India by getting their forged Indian documents prepared through agents and claiming themselves to be Indian citizens. On confirming this information, it was found that a Bangladeshi man named Siraj and his wife are living in India by claiming themselves to be Indians on the basis of forged documents. These people have also got Indian passports made on the basis of forged documents. Not only this, these people have also travelled to Dubai, Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.
Indian documents were made fraudulently
On December 22, the ATS field unit Aligarh arrested Siraj (33) and his wife Halima (28). In the initial interrogation, Siraj told that he came to India with his wife by crossing the border from Benaful border through brokers. With the help of Pappu, a Bangladeshi man already living in India, he started living in Aligarh by claiming himself to be a resident of West Bengal. Forged documents were prepared with the help of Pappu. On the basis of these documents, bank accounts of Siraj and Halima were opened and Indian passports were made. Halima and Siraj travelled to Bangladesh 4 months ago with Indian passports.
Many fake documents recovered
Two mobile phones, two Indian Aadhaar cards, two voter cards, two Indian PAN cards, two ATM cards, two Indian passports, a copy of a Bangladeshi passport, a copy of two Bangladeshi birth certificates, an identity card (Saudi Arabia), an e-shram card, a corona vaccine card, a PCC form (Ministry of External Affairs) and other documents were recovered from them. Apart from this, Rs 1250 cash has been recovered from them.
