Delhi: Along with snowfall in the mountains, many states of North India are experiencing severe cold. At the same time, the weather of many states is going to deteriorate due to western disturbance. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain in Delhi-NCR as well as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab in the next few days. The already cold in all these states will increase further. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for both rain and cold wave for many states.

It will rain during the day today as well
The Meteorological Department said that many districts of Delhi, NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana will remain cloudy on Monday (December 23). Light rain was also recorded in Delhi-NCR this morning. There is a possibility of rain during the day as well.

Heavy rain expected on 26 and 27 December
However, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in large parts of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana on 26 and 27 December. The chill will increase due to rain. Cold wave will also prevail during this period.

The Meteorological Department said that this rain will cause a sharp drop in temperature in areas like Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and cold wave will prevail in Madhya Pradesh.

Weather changed due to western disturbance
Changing weather pattern With the arrival of a new western disturbance in the western Himalayan region and adjoining plains, rain and weather conditions are expected to change. Along with light rain in Delhi-NCR on Monday, dense fog will prevail on Tuesday. A yellow alert has been issued for severe cold.

Rainfall in these parts of the country
The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains have occurred recently in coastal Andhra Pradesh, northern Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Rayalaseema. Rainfall has also been recorded in some parts of Odisha, coastal West Bengal, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya.

Alert for rain and snowfall in many parts of Himachal
At the same time, there is a possibility of rain at some places in Himachal Pradesh on 23, 24 and 27 December. Orange alert has been issued for Una, Hamirpur, Bilaspur and Mandi districts during the next 24 hours. With snowfall in many areas of Himachal, the cold will increase even more.
