Lentils (for this you can choose any lentil of your choice, by the way, you can use moong or tur dal.), Spinach, Onion, Tomato, Green Chillies, Garlic, Ginger and Green Coriander.
Method
To make dal palak, wash and soak the lentils well. Then after sorting the spinach properly, wash and chop it. Now chop the onion and tomato finely. Finely chop green chilli and garlic and grate ginger. Now put a little ghee in the cooker first. After it is hot, add cumin seeds and then fry green chilies and garlic. Then add ginger to it and after a minute of adding ginger, add onion to it. After frying the onion well, add tomatoes to it. Now add salt, chili powder, turmeric powder and a little coriander powder to it. Then put both dal and pal in it. Add little water and let it cook. After 10 minutes, turn off the gas and open the lid of the cooker, then put it on the gas again and add garam masala and asafoetida water to it. Cook a little and then add green coriander to it and serve. You can eat it with jaggery even without roti.
