Beirut: The Israeli army is carrying out rapid attacks on the bases of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon. An Israeli official ( Israeli army)  has said that Hezbollah’s senior military officer Ibrahim Aqeel has been targeted in the Israeli attack on Beirut. Israel claimed that Hezbollah’s senior military officer Ibrahim Aqeel has been killed in the air strikes on Beirut. Aqeel has served as the head of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force and the group’s highest military body, the Jihad Council. Meanwhile, the Lebanese Health Ministry has said that at least 8 people have been killed and 59 injured in the Israeli attack on Beirut.

Hezbollah fired rockets
Hezbollah fired more than 140 rockets at northern Israel on Friday, in response to which the Israeli army carried out ‘targeted attacks’ in Beirut, Lebanon. The Israeli army said that three rounds of rockets were fired on Friday afternoon, targeting sites located on the border with Lebanon. Hezbollah said that it targeted several places on the border with Katyusha rockets, including several air defense bases and the headquarters of an Israeli armored brigade. Hezbollah said that these targets have been attacked for the first time.

Missiles destroyed in the air
The Israeli army said that 120 missiles were fired in the areas of Golan Heights, Safed and Upper Galilee, some of which were destroyed in the air. The army said that firefighters were trying to extinguish the fire caused by pieces of debris falling on the ground in several areas. The army did not say whether any missile hit the target or there were any casualties. The army said that 20 missiles were fired in Meron and Netua areas and most of them fell in open areas. The army said that there were no reports of casualties.
