When will the meeting be held?
The meeting of the Central Election Committee of Congress will be held today at 11 am and then at 4 pm. In the meeting at 11 am, the seats of Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections will be discussed, while at four in the evening, the seats of Haryana will be discussed. After this, a second meeting will be held on September 3 at 11 am regarding Haryana.
Recently, Congress had made some changes
Before the assembly elections to be held in various states of the country in the next few months, Congress made a big change in its national organization and appointed many new secretaries and joint secretaries on Friday. Along with this, the party also changed the officials of many states. According to the press release issued by the party’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge appointed secretaries and joint secretaries of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) for various states and union territories. These officials will be associated with the party’s general secretaries and in-charges in the respective states.
Pranav Jha and Gaurav Pandhi, who are handling the coordination responsibility in the office of the Congress President, have been made AICC secretaries. Vineet Punia, who is playing the role of AICC secretary under the party’s communication department, will continue to play this responsibility, although Ruchira Chaturvedi has also been appointed secretary in this department along with him. Two former MLAs of Rajasthan, Danish Abrar, have been appointed as secretaries for Delhi and Divya Maderna for Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Former acting president of All India Mahila Congress Neta D’Souza and former NSUI president Neeraj Kundan will work as AICC secretaries with the party’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal.
