New Delhi: haThe student movement that started against reservation in Bangladesh (Bangladesh) grew so much that Sheikh Hasina d to leave her power and flee the country. She reached India and was seen pleading for asylum from many countries. But it does not seem that whatever has happened in Bangladesh is going to be limited to Bangladesh only. This is what happens when the American deep state, China and Pakistan along with many other terrorist forces intervene in a country. This has happened in Afghanistan and Sri Lanka before this.
Terrorist forces joined in the guise of student movement
The democratically elected government of Sheikh Hasina would not have even thought that following the path of Pakistan, there would also be a conspiracy of coup at the behest of the army and that too under the guise of student movement, in which the terrorist forces of the country would also be involved. It can be dangerous to think that this movement seen in Bangladesh is limited only to Bangladesh. Sheikh Hasina was elected to power for the fourth time through a democratic electoral process. But, Begum Khaleda Zia’s party Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Bangladesh’s banned militant organizations Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, Jamaat-e-Islami were unable to digest this.
Bangladesh’s progress was troubling many forces
The way Sheikh Hasina’s opponents got support from the American deep state, China and Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI, the pictures of the same are visible in Bangladesh. The meaning was clear that those who could not come to power there, staged a coup there with the help of separatism, violence, anarchy and the army and in this they got a lot of support from other countries as well. Sheikh Hasina was taking Bangladesh forward on the path of development under the principle of ‘Nation First’ without caring about America and China, but this progress was not at all liked by many forces of Pakistan including America and China.
America wanted Sheikh Hasina to lose the election
America had asked for land for an airbase in Bangladesh but Sheikh Hasina refused. America was angry with this and wanted Hasina to lose the Bangladesh election. But, this did not happen and when America felt that things had slipped out of their hands, they started saying that Hasina conducted the elections in an undemocratic manner. It is amazing that the same America had come forward to topple the elected government of Imran Khan in Pakistan and form the government of Shahbaz Sharif with the help of the army. The same America sees democracy in Pakistan and everything in Bangladesh as undemocratic.
Sheikh Hasina had also angered China
Sheikh Hasina improved her relations with both India and China during her two-decade tenure. She was also moving on the path of ‘free trade’ with India, but China wanted land for BRE in Bangladesh. Hasina was not ready for this, so she also angered China. In such a situation, Hasina was cornered on the domestic front and on the Islamic radicalism front and was also becoming a thorn in the eyes of foreign super powers. Regarding what happened in Bangladesh, the US even said that people should be allowed to protest peacefully. But people were being held hostage on the streets in Dhaka, there was an orgy of violence. Radical Islamic forces were seen demonstrating their capabilities.
The Islamic forces’ show of power in Bangladesh
The killings of many political leaders and burning of houses of important people do not seem to be peaceful protests at all. This does not seem to be a student movement in any way, but is a dangerous show of power by radical Islamic forces. Seeing these forces on the streets, does it seem that they respect the institutions there? There have been major reshuffles in the army as well and many officers close to Sheikh Hasina have been replaced. In such a situation, it seems that there are many layers of conspiracy and with time these layers will slowly be revealed.
The people of India also need to be careful and cautious
Similar situations can happen in India too, so we need to be careful and cautious and think. Because the day these western countries enter our country in the name of protecting democracy, we need to learn a lesson from Bangladesh about what happened to them. Our politicians go outside the country and say that America and other western countries should intervene to protect democracy in India. We also have to see whether by seeing differences in the states, by dividing into castes, we are becoming puppets in the hands of those political forces who could not come to power by winning the elections and had to face defeat in the elections held through democratic process.
Attempt to create Bangladesh-like situation in India too
The way in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, some parties gave a different color to the entire election system by showing the fear of ‘reservation will end’ and ‘constitution will be changed’, do those forces want to create a situation like Bangladesh in the country? The way some political parties of the country are scaring the minorities in the name of religion and creating divisions among the majority castes and instigating them for a movement in the name of reservation, caste census and share, are they trying to capture power here too by carrying out a coup like in Bangladesh?
