Warning of heavy rain in 13 states(13 states)

Delhi: Light rain has started in the national capital Delhi since Monday morning. Strong winds were blowing here since Sunday evening and the weather was pleasant. With the rain, the temperature of Delhi has dropped further. The Meteorological Department has predicted light rain in Delhi. At the same time, a warning has been issued regarding heavy rain in 13 states.      (13 states) Red alert has been issued in 4 states and Orange alert in 9 states.

On Sunday, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, which is 1.8 degrees Celsius more than normal. It has rained in some parts of the national capital. The Delhi Public Works Department said that it received five complaints of waterlogging and uprooted trees from South, Central and Rohini areas.

Light rain forecast in Delhi
The IMD said that the humidity was 63 percent at 5:30 pm. It has predicted cloudy skies and light rain on Monday. The department said that the maximum temperature on Monday is likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 28 degrees Celsius. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) in the city was recorded at 63 at 9 am, which falls in the ‘satisfactory’ category.

Alert in these states
The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in these states. Heavy rains may also occur in some areas of Uttar Pradesh adjoining northwestern Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains are also expected in Maharashtra, Goa. Very heavy rains are also expected in some parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan adjoining western Madhya Pradesh. Orange alert has been issued for West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya. Heavy rains are expected in these states. However, there is no fear of cloudburst or any other accident.
