Belagavi: A shocking incident was seen in a court in Belagavi, Karnataka on Wednesday. A gangster named Jayesh Pujari, who is in jail, allegedly raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ in the court premises. Police said on Wednesday that after raising pro-Pakistan slogans, many lawyers and people gathered there and they allegedly pushed the gangster. Police are now investigating the matter as to why the gangster (gangster) raised slogans in support of Pakistan.
Who is the gangster?
According to the police, gangster Jayesh Pujari is lodged in the Central Jail in Hindalga. He was brought to the court for hearing in connection with a case registered in 2018. The case was registered after he allegedly threatened the then Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Alok Kumar. Apart from this, gangster Pujari is also guilty of double murder.
How did the incident happen?
According to the police, when gangster Jayesh Pujari was being taken to the court for appearance, he raised slogans of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ inside the premises. In such a situation, the police caught him and brought him to the police station. Police said that the footage shows that he was allegedly attacked but whether he was actually attacked is being investigated. No marks of injury are clearly visible. Gangster had also threatened Gadkari’s office Police has said that a case has been registered against gangster Pujari under section 295 A and section 505 (2) regarding this incident. He will be sent to judicial custody. Police said that gangster Jayesh Pujari had made threatening calls to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s office last year demanding ransom.
