Covishield: Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines were administered to protect people from the disease during the Corona epidemic. In India, its vaccine was produced by Adar Poonawala’s Serum Institute. Which was later applied to crores of people around the world including India. Nearly 4 years after the pandemic, AstraZeneca has now admitted that its Covid vaccine may cause rare side effects in people.
Covishield vaccine can cause heart attack!
In a legal case, AstraZeneca admitted that its corona vaccine, which was sold worldwide under the brand names Covishield and Vaxjavria, could cause side effects in people, including blood clots. In other words, it can cause heart attack, (heart attack) brain stroke and falling of platelets. The company also added that this will happen only in very rare cases and there is no need for common people to fear.
How did the case reach the court?
In Britain, a person named Jamie Scott has filed a case in the court against AstraZeneca company. He says that he suffered brain damage after getting vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. Like them, many other families have also filed complaints in the court regarding the side effects of the vaccine. He says that to get this vaccine, he is facing many types of physical disorders, which were not told about earlier. These families are now demanding compensation for the problems they faced regarding the vaccine.
AstraZeneca’s confession in court
While filing its reply in the UK High Court, the company admitted that in very rare cases their vaccine can cause thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS). Because of this people may suffer heart attack or brain stroke. Despite this confession, the company is opposing people’s demand for compensation. The company says that after vaccination on such a large scale, this problem may occur in some people.
The company may have to pay heavy compensation
The AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine is no longer given in the UK due to safety concerns. At present this matter is pending in the court. If the court accepts the claim of the petitioners, the company may have to pay a huge sum.
