Accused commits suicide in Kotwali lockup

Kasganj. In Kotwali police station Kasganj, the accused named in M.S. No. 622/21 Section 363/366 Bhadvi, the accused Altaf son Chahat Mian, aged about 22 years, resident of village Ahrauli police station and district Kasganj was brought for questioning by Kasganj police this morning. When the accused asked the employee present there to go to the bathroom, the employee was sent to the bathroom located in the lock-up, after not coming out for some time, he was seen by the employee, then by tying the string in the hood (topa) of the jacket to the pipe. He had tightened his throat, the staff present there opened the string from the neck of the said accused and was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died after being treated for some time. During the investigation, these five policemen have been suspended for prima facie negligence.
