New Delhi: Cold, fog, snowfall and rain continue in the northern states of the country. There will be heavy snowfall **(Snowfall) in Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir for the next two days. There is an alert of snowfall in Himachal Pradesh for the next three days. Whereas in Delhi, rain has been predicted on 3rd and 4th February amid cold winds. Rain alert has also been given in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab and Haryana on Saturday. There is also a possibility of hailstorm in some areas of Rajasthan.
Releasing the forecast, the India Meteorological Department said that till February 3, there is a possibility of dense to very dense fog in the morning in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar. Due to Western Disturbance, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain or snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till February 5, 2024.

Delhi’s climate
Rain coupled with strong winds had increased the cold in Delhi. But on Friday afternoon, there was a lot of relief from the cold and the sun was also visible. There will be light rain and thundershowers with strong winds.
Himachal Pradesh weather
After two days of snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, there was sunshine on Friday. Due to snowfall, 420 roads including 3 national highways and more than 1600 electricity transformers remain closed for the second day in the state. Due to this, there has been blackout in hundreds of villages. According to IMD’s update, the weather is going to change again in Himachal Pradesh. There is an alert of heavy snowfall and snowfall on Saturday and Sunday. Shimla Center of Meteorological Department has issued yellow alert for two days.

There is a possibility of hailstorm in the plains and central mountainous areas on 3 and 4 February.
Weather of Punjab and Haryana
After rain in Haryana, there was dense fog on Friday morning. Visibility was zero in Rewari and less than 20 meters at other places including Jind. The weather is clear in other places of Punjab including Amritsar and Jalandhar. The weather will remain clear here for the next two days. Western disturbance will be active again on 3rd and 4th February. Its effect will be visible in Haryana and Punjab also.
Uttar Pradesh weather
There is an alert of rain and hail after cold in Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in 12 districts of the state. Heavy rain is expected in many parts of the state from February 4. Similar weather will continue till 8th February. There is a possibility of rain and hailstorm during this period. It rained in 15 districts of the state on Thursday. In Noida, Mathura, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Baghpat, Bareilly, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, there was drizzle and at some places heavy rain. Maximum rainfall in Baghpat was 21.5 mm. Recorded.
Bihar weather
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of dense fog in many districts of Bihar. There was dense fog in East and West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Saran, Sapaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Kishanganj and Araria on Friday. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert here for the next two days. The mercury may fall by 2 to 3 degrees in the coming days.
