New Delhi. Babbar (Babbar) Khalsa International member Lakhbir Singh Landa has been declared a terrorist by the Union Home Ministry.
The Union Home Ministry has issued a notification regarding declaring Lakhbir Singh Landa as a terrorist. According to the notification, this decision has been taken against Lakhbir Singh Landa under the Unlawful Activities Act.
Who is Lakhbir Singh Landa?
Actually, Lakhbir Singh Landa was born in Punjab. He is a member of Canada-based Babbar Khalsa International. Landa, a resident of Tarn Taran district, is based in Alberta, Canada.
Allegation of attack on Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters
According to the notification, Lakhbir is accused of carrying out the attack on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali with the help of rockets.

Apart from this, Lakhbir Singh Landa is also accused of supplying IEDs, weapons and explosives from across the border to carry out terrorist activities in Punjab.
Besides, Lakhbir Singh Landa has also been involved in different criminal cases. Such as setting up terrorist modules, extortion, murders, planting of IEDs, smuggling of arms and narcotics and use of money.
Look out circular was issued in the year 2021
Let us tell you that a look out circular was issued against Lakhbir Singh Landa in the year 2021. NIA had also announced reward on Landa. According to the Central Government, Lakhbir Singh is involved in terrorist activities. Due to this he has been declared a terrorist.
In August this year, the NIA special court had ordered confiscation of the property of terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa in Kirian village of Tarn Taran district.
