New Delhi: Rain continues in many states of the country. At the same time, departure of monsoon has started from some states. In such a situation, there is rain at some places and sunshine at other places. Talking about monsoon, conditions are favorable for the departure of monsoon from North-West India and some parts of West Central India. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains will continue in the states of Eastern India from September 29. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Odisha from 29th September to 01st October. The national capital Delhi(Delhi ) may remain partly cloudy.
Talking about today’s weather, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rain with some heavy falls may occur over Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and parts of Madhya Maharashtra. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Odisha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Interior Karnataka and Marathwada. Light rain may occur over Northeast India, Sikkim, Bihar, Southwest Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu and one or two places over Southeast Rajasthan.
According to Skymet Weather report, good rains will continue in Mumbai till October 2 and will stop after that. This will probably be the last spell of rain for Mumbai, making it the farewell rain of Monsoon 2023. According to the Meteorological Department, this year monsoon will bid a late farewell in Bihar.
There will be intermittent rains in the state between September 29 and October 5. At the same time, heavy rain can also be seen in the state from October 2. Monsoon may end in Bihar around October 10. The cold of night has started in the hilly areas. At the same time, slight cold is being felt in the plains in the morning.
