New Delhi: India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest  (storm) weather bulletin has predicted heavy to very heavy rain in many parts of the country till September 28. The weather agency also said that the conditions for the withdrawal of south-west monsoon are becoming favorable for some parts of West Rajasthan. Further, it is also predicted that a low pressure area is likely to form over North Andaman Sea and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal around September 30 and is likely to gradually intensify further west-northwest. -There is a possibility of moving towards the west.

Talking about today’s weather, there may be light rain in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Eastern Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep and Rayalaseema. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Northeast India, Sikkim, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, South West Madhya Pradesh, South Gujarat and South East Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some parts of Maharashtra, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands along with heavy rain at some places.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh till September 30. Actually, due to western disturbance coming from Pakistan, this change is being seen in the weather of UP. Before departure, monsoon can show its fierce form in UP. An alert has been issued for severe thunderstorm and lightning in the districts of Eastern UP.

According to the report of Skymet Weather, there may be heavy rains at different places in Bihar in the early days of October i.e. from 29 September to 5 October. Let us tell you that this year Bihar has been continuously suffering from lack of rain throughout the season.
