Here a 14-year-old boy living in Worcester, Massachusetts, died after eating highly spiced chips. In this viral challenge, the participants had to allegedly eat the world’s spiciest tortilla chips and make a video of themselves during this. There was no need to eat anything while eating these chips.
These chips are made by Paki Company. It comes in a coffin container. A warning is also written in it that keep children away from it and only adults should eat it. A person sensitive to spicy food or suffering from any allergy should stay away from it. The report cited his family as saying that Harris died due to complications from eating overly spicy chips.
According to the web page of the culinary company One Chips Challenge, anyone who has difficulty breathing, faints or has prolonged nausea may need to seek medical help. Harris’s mother, Lois Valloba, told that a nurse had called the school and told that after eating the chips given by a classmate, she had started having severe stomach pain.
He told, ‘But, after going home, Harris felt better. Then, later, when he was about to leave for basketball trials, he fainted. Harris was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. However, the cause of death is yet to be ascertained and the autopsy report is awaited. Police are investigating the teenager’s death.
