New Delhi. Preparations for the G20 (G-20 ) summit are going on at a fast pace. Extensive security arrangements have been made in this regard. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the G20 meeting to be held in India as historic. Most of the international leaders will participate in it. More than 40 international leaders are scheduled to attend the summit and New Delhi is gearing up to welcome foreign dignitaries.
Several world leaders will attend the G20 summit in New Delhi on September 9 and 10, including Joe Biden, Rishi Sunak and Emmanuel Macron, who are members of the G20 organisation. From September 8 to September 10, all government offices, banks and banks in the capital will remain closed due to this program.
160 flights will be canceled during the event
The G-20 world leaders summit, an international gathering of major established and emerging nations of the world, is expected to be one of the biggest gatherings of world leaders in India. VVIPs attending the summit have reserved over 3,500 hotel rooms in hotels in Delhi and Gurugram. About 160 flights have been canceled due to the program.

US President Joe Biden has announced his presence in the G-20 conference to be held in India. He is going to reach here on 7th September. With foreign leaders, the US President is expected to discuss a number of global challenges, including the war in Ukraine.
Rishi Sunak excited to come to India
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also indicated that he will participate in the G-20 summit. He also expressed regret over Ukraine being left out of the invitation to the summit. Britain’s High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis had announced last month that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was excited to attend the G-20 summit in New Delhi. Sunak will probably stay at the Shangri La Hotel.
Chinese President Xi Jinping also expected to arrive
Chinese President Xi Jinping is also expected to attend the meeting. He is likely to stay at the Taj Mahal and is expected to bring 46 vehicles with him. According to South Korean Ambassador to India Chang Jae Bok, President Yoon Suk Yeol is coming to the summit in Delhi. French President Emmanuel Macron will also go to the G-20 summit in New Delhi. He is likely to stay at Claridge Hotel in New Delhi.

According to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, this meeting will be held from September 9 to 10. The Australian Prime Minister will visit Indonesia, Philippines and India as part of his three-nation tour. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will stay with his group at Oberoi Hotel. He will discuss climate change with other leaders at the summit, which is one of the important topics on his agenda. After the meeting, Erdogan will go to New York to participate in the 78th United Nations General Assembly. According to the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the summit.
Which countries will not participate in the G-20 summit?
Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the G-20 summit in New Delhi as he is ‘focusing on special military operations’. Along with the G-20 summit held in Indonesia last year, Putin did not participate in the recent BRICS summit held in South Africa. Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Germany, Indonesia, Brazil and Argentina are some of the many countries that have not yet announced that they will participate in the summit.
Guest countries participating in the G-20 summit
Some ‘guest countries’ will also be present at the summit. These especially include Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius and Nigeria.
