12 killed, 5 injured( 12 killed,) 

Pratapgarh. A horrific road accident has happened in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. So far 12 people( 12 killed,)  have died tragically in the accident. Tankers and tampos have collided and 12 people have lost their lives. At present, the police have registered a case and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
According to the information, this incident has come to light near Vikrampur turn of Leelapur police station of Pratapgarh, UP. Both the vehicles have collided with each other. The police have identified the 10 people killed in the accident. Among the dead, the police have identified 7 men, 2 women and a girl child. It is being told that two couples, maternal uncle and niece have lost their lives in a road accident. Police is still engaged in identifying the two bodies. Most of the deceased were residents of Jethwara police station area. At present, 5 persons are undergoing treatment in critical condition. A total of 17 people have become victims of the accident in this incident. On the other hand, there has been uproar among the family members since the incident.
midnight post mortem
A panel of four doctors is engaged in conducting the post-mortem of the dead bodies. So far the doctors have done the postmortem of five bodies. Postmortem is being done at night on the orders of DM. IG Range Prayagraj Chandra Prakash Pratapgarh has reached the spot of the incident and IG has reviewed and has given instructions to provide better treatment to the injured in the accident.
