Court (Court) ordered investigation

Kolkata. A shocking case of Pakistani citizens getting jobs in the Indian Army has come to the fore. This matter has come before the Calcutta High Court. A petition has been filed in the single bench of Justice Rajasekhar Mantha of the Calcutta High Court, claiming that two Pakistani nationals have been given jobs in the armed forces through forgery of documents. After these allegations, the High Court (Court)  has ordered the investigation of this matter by CID.

The two alleged Pakistani nationals named in the petition are Jaikant Kumar and Pradyuman Kumar, who are currently posted at the Defense Cantonment at Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The petitioner is Bishnu Chowdhary, who is a resident of Hooghly district. Accusing the army of corruption in the lawsuit, it has been said that he was recruited in the army without checking his citizenship.

Recruitment of Pakistanis through examination
Justice Rajasekhar Mantha of the Calcutta High Court has ordered a CID inquiry in view of the seriousness of the matter. The court has expressed the possibility of involvement of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI in this matter. It is alleged that two Pakistani citizens work in Barrackpore Army Camp. Reportedly, he joined the Indian Army after coming from Pakistan. Their appointment has also been done through government examination. Both got the job by forging the necessary documents in the examination.

The court said that this is a serious matter
Chaudhary has alleged in his petition that both were selected through the Staff Selection Commission examination and got the job through forgery of documents. He also alleged that behind such appointments through forged documents, a huge racket involving influential political leaders, bureaucrats and police officers was involved. When this matter came up for hearing in the court of Justice Mantha on Tuesday, she was also surprised. He said that if there is truth in the allegations of the petitioner, then it is a very serious matter.
