9 killed in blasts in walkie-talkies (walkie-talkies)

Lebanon: After pager blasts in Lebanon on Tuesday, now walkie-talkies   (walkie-talkies)  exploded on Wednesday. According to Associated Press journalists present at the scene, several explosions took place at the funeral site of three Hezbollah members and a child on Wednesday. The funeral was being held for those who died a day earlier due to a pager explosion. Lebanon’s Health Ministry has said that 9 people have died in the blasts in walkie-talkies while more than 300 have been injured. An AP photographer in the southern coastal city of Sidon saw a car and a mobile phone shop damaged due to the blasts. According to the news of Lebanon’s official news agency, there have been explosions in solar energy systems in homes in several areas of Beirut and southern Lebanon.

Explosions reported in several areas

Hezbollah has reported explosions in several areas of Lebanon. Lebanon is once again in a state of panic after the new incidents of explosions. A Hezbollah official, while keeping his identity secret, told the Associated Press that there have been explosions in the walkie-talkies used by the group. Lebanon’s security officials say that the walkie-talkies in which the explosions took place were purchased by Hezbollah along with pagers.

Explosions took place in pagers

Let us tell you that, earlier on Tuesday, there were explosions in pagers in several places in Syria including Lebanon’s capital Beirut. At least nine people, including an eight-year-old girl, were killed and about 3,000 people were injured in the explosions in pagers. An American official, on the condition of anonymity, said that Israel had informed the US about this after the operation was over. Hezbollah has blamed Israel for the pager explosion and has threatened to take revenge.

Israel’s warning

On October 7 last year, Israel was attacked by militants of the terrorist organization Hamas. Since then, there has been almost daily firing between Hezbollah and the Israeli army. So far, hundreds of people have been killed in Lebanon in firing and attacks, while dozens of people have also lost their lives in Israel. Thousands of people have also been displaced from both sides of the border. Israeli leaders have issued warnings several times in recent weeks, saying that the campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon could intensify.
