Surat: Heartbreaking news is coming out from Surat, Gujarat. 6 workers have lost their lives due to leakage of chemical in a printing mill. A tanker driver was pouring chemical in a drain near the mill. During this, a poisonous gas started leaking from it. The workers of the printing mill also came under its grip. By the time people could understand the situation, five lost their lives.
On getting information about the accident, the police reached the spot and the injured were rushed to the hospital.
Onkar Chaudhary, in-charge of the hospital, said that six people died and 20 others were admitted to the civil hospital due to gas leak in a company in Sachin GIDC area of Surat.
