Delhi: Former Rajya Sabha MP Mohammad Adeeb has given such a statement that has statement (statemen) an uproar. Actually, a gathering of Muslim intellectuals was held in the country’s capital Delhi. Many alims and Fazil were present in it. Big Maulana Ikram was participating. Other officials including the head of All India Muslim Personal Law Board were present. The gathering was against the Waqf Amendment Bill. Speeches were being made here and the fear was being shown that the Waqf Bill will take away the properties of Muslims. In this speech, former Rajya Sabha MP Mohammad Adeeb cited history. Mohammad Adeeb said that it is the favor of Muslims that the border of Pakistan remained till Lahore, otherwise it would have been Lucknow. Now an uproar has started on his statement.
Many leaders were present on the stage
In the country’s capital Delhi, where this was being said, All India Muslim Personal Law Board’s chief Khalid Saifullah Rahmani was present on the stage along with general secretary Fazlurrahim Mujaddidi. Hazrat Maulana Abu Talib Rahmani, Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Imran Pratapgarhi were present. Amrain Mahfooz Rahmani, Samajwadi Party leader and Rampur MP Maulana Mohibullah Nadvi and Karnataka’s Rajya Sabha MP Syed Naseer Hussain were present. But no one objected to this statement. Not only this, in this speech, BJP was targeted without taking the name of Babri Masjid.
Provocative statements were also made in the meeting
JPC is currently discussing the Waqf Amendment Bill. It is yet to be brought in the House. But even before that, an atmosphere is being created to scare Muslims. In the meeting, Maulana Umaran Mahfooz Rahmani gave an inflammatory statement saying that touching the mosque is an invitation to revenge.
Why did the maulana get angry?
The Muslim Personal Law Board has opposed the bill in the JPC. Many political parties are also opposing it. But the committee chairman Jagdambika Pal, along with holding meetings, is going on the ground and talking to those who are affected by this bill. This step has further enraged the maulanas.
