Jhansi. A major accident took place in Chirgaon police station area of Jhansi district of UP today on the day of Vijayadashami. Tractor trolley of devotees going to immerse the tides in Chirauna village of Chirgaon from Pandokhar in neighboring Datia district overturned. 11 people died in this accident that happened in the afternoon, including 7 women and 4 children. It was told that the buffalo suddenly came in front of the tractor trolley of the devotees going on the highway, due to which the driver of the tractor lost control. In an attempt to save the animal that suddenly appeared, it overturned, killing 11 people including four children and injuring about six people.
After the horrific road accident, there was shouting at the spot. Nearby people also ran towards the spot. Local people quickly rescued many people buried under the tractor trolley, but the lives of 7 women and 4 children could not be saved. Those injured in the accident were immediately sent to a nearby hospital, where a team of doctors is examining them.
Here, while giving information about the road accident, Jhansi Senior Superintendent of Police Shivhari Meena said that in the afternoon, more than 30 villagers from Pandokhar in Madhya Pradesh were going towards Erich with Jaware. During this, suddenly an animal came in front of the vehicle near Nidhi, Chirgaon. The tractor trolley driver tried to save the animal, but due to this he lost his control. Due to this the tractor trolley overturned. He said that in the accident four children and 7 women aged between 5 and 10 years were crushed to death by tractor trolley. Apart from this, many people were also injured, who have been sent to the hospital. He said that the matter is being investigated.
