According to the information, the plaster layer fell from the wall of Charminar after heavy rains on Thursday. There is no news of anyone being injured in this incident. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has also given information about this incident.

ASI sources have informed that no one has been injured in the incident of plaster layer falling from the wall of Charminar. Officials have said that the plaster layer fell from the wall of Charminar due to heavy rains. According to sources, the affected part of Charminar has been inspected. On Friday, a team of engineers and experts will prepare a plan of action for the solution.
What did the police say? Regarding this entire incident, the inspector of Charminar Police Station said- “Due to heavy rains, a small piece of Hyderabad’s iconic Charminar tower fell. There were no casualties in this incident. This incident happened today i.e. on Thursday.” According to the information given by the officials, due to heavy rains on Thursday, waterlogging also occurred in many areas of Hyderabad. What is the history of Charminar? Charminar is a historical monument in Hyderabad, Telangana state of India. It was built by Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah in the year 1591. It is considered a symbol of Hyderabad. According to the official website of the Telangana government, it is believed that this structure with four pillars and carvings was built by Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah in honor of his wife Bhagmati. However, the real reason behind this is still not known. The construction of Charminar was started in the year 1589.
