Nainital: The second death (Second death ) in four days has been registered due to traffic jam during the tourist season in Uttarakhand. This time a businessman died in the ambulance in Dhaniakot area of Nainital district. The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old shopkeeper Jagmohan Singh Pinari, who was going to Haldwani hospital with his family on Sunday evening after vomiting blood.
Did not reach hospital on time
According to the police and the family, Pinari needed medical help, but due to the breakdown of the ambulance on the way and the long traffic jam, he could not reach the hospital on time. Giving information about the incident, Pinari’s son Labhanshu Pinari alleged that the ambulance left for Haldwani at 4:30 pm, but due to traffic jam and breakdown of the vehicle, the ambulance reached Haldwani at 9:30 pm. Due to this, my father could not get timely medical facility and he died before reaching the hospital.
Investigation ordered after the incident
After the incident, Nainital District Magistrate Vandana Singh has ordered an inquiry. She said that there is a need to know why the old ambulance was sent when a new ambulance was available. The matter is being investigated and strict action has been assured against the culprits.

Nainital District Magistrate Vandana Singh has instructed the officials to make necessary arrangements for the devotees and traffic management in time. She also ensured that food vehicles will not be allowed to park on the road in Nainital, Bhawali, Bhimtal and Kainchidham, so that there is no further problem in traffic.
