New Delhi: The drop in temperature in Delhi-NCR (Delhi-NCR ) has started, albeit a little. Due to this, mild cold is being felt in the morning and late night. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear in Delhi on Friday and the maximum temperature can be between 33 and minimum 18-19 degrees.
Alert regarding severe cold
According to the information, after snowfall in the hilly states, the temperature in Delhi falls rapidly. The effect of cold can start showing in Delhi from the first week of November. However, the cold will increase after November 15. Severe cold can set in after the third week of November. It is estimated that this year the cold can be more intense than last year.
Heavy rain alert in Odisha and West Bengal
At the same time, due to cyclonic storm Dana, there is heavy rain in Odisha and West Bengal. The effect of the cyclone is visible in Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may occur in Dhenkanal, Khorda and Puri districts of Odisha on October 25. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur Kendujhar, Jajpur, Cuttack.
Heavy rain warning has been issued today in East and West Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata and Bankura districts of West Bengal. It has been raining with strong winds in these places since yesterday. Crops have also suffered heavy damage due to rain.
Light rain will occur here
According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains may occur in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, South Interior Karnataka. Rain will continue in Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe and Lakshadweep for the next two days. Kerala and Mahe will receive heavy rain today. On the other hand, light to moderate rain with sporadic thundershowers occurred at many places in the Northeast. There is a possibility of lightning along with rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram. There will be relief from rain here after the next 2 days.
