Know when all schools in Delhi will open( Delhi ) 

New Delhi: The Delhi  ( Delhi )  government has issued a notice to all schools directing them to resume offline classes. The Directorate of Education (DOE) said in a notice on January 17 that all schools will remain open from Monday and children’s classes will be offline. The DoE said that the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has decided to lift the measures under Phase Three of the Graded Response Action Plan with immediate effect. It said that as a result, all classes in both private and government schools will be conducted in offline mode with immediate effect.

All schools will open from Monday

The DOE said in the notice that all government, government unaided, unaided recognized private schools of DOE, NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council), MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) and Delhi Cantonment Board are informed to resume offline classes. Thus all classes in all schools will be conducted in a direct manner with immediate effect. Regular classes are expected to be restored from Monday. Students, parents and guardians have been advised to contact their respective school authorities for additional information.

Classes were running on hybrid model

Earlier, the Delhi Directorate of Education (DOE) had asked all schools to conduct hybrid classes for students up to class 9 and class 11. The decision came after the phase four restrictions of the Graded Response Action Plan. Students of class 8 were not being called to school.

Delhi weather

The maximum temperature in Delhi on Saturday was recorded at 27.7 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. Dense fog engulfed some outskirts of the national capital on Saturday morning, reducing visibility considerably and delaying 47 trains. The weather department has predicted dense fog in Delhi on Sunday with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to hover around 21 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively. The air quality index (AQI) in the national capital was recorded in the ‘poor’ category at 263 at 7 pm.
