Big news about the Russia-Ukraine war(Russia-Ukraine)

Washington: Big news has come out about the Russia-Ukraine  (Russia-Ukraine)  war. The Kremlin has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday agreed to US President Donald Trump’s proposal in which Russia and Ukraine were asked to stop attacking each other’s energy infrastructure for 30 days and a similar order was given to the Russian army. The Kremlin has issued a statement saying that the two leaders had a “detailed and frank exchange of views” on the phone call regarding the matter of the Russia-Ukraine war.

The biggest thing is that in this conversation with US President Donald Trump, Putin said that the solution to the conflict should be “comprehensive, durable and long-term”, taking into account Russia’s own security interests and the root causes of the war.

Russia wants to end the war

President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed to seek a limited ceasefire against energy and infrastructure targets in the Russia-Ukraine war during their phone call on Tuesday, according to the White House. The White House called it the first step in a “movement for peace” that is expected to eventually lead to a maritime ceasefire in the Black Sea and a full and permanent end to the fighting. Negotiations on those steps “will begin immediately,” the White House said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told US President Donald Trump that if the US and its allies want to end the hostilities, they must stop military and intelligence aid to Ukraine, the Kremlin said.

Ukraine must be persuaded

Now, it was not immediately clear whether Ukraine was on board with the phased ceasefire plan. Putin also called on Trump to stop foreign military and intelligence aid to Ukraine, according to the Kremlin, as the US seeks to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
