AQI reached close to 400 in Delhi(Delhi)

The smoke of stubble from Punjab-Haryana has started choking. Delhi’s AQI level is preparing to reach close to 400.

AQI level 353 in Akshardham area

Fog has covered many areas of Delhi. A layer of haze has covered Akshardham temple and surrounding areas of Delhi. The AQI of this area has reached 353, which has been placed in the ‘very poor’ category according to the Central Pollution Control Board. The AQI level of Nehru Park and its surroundings has reached 254. It has been placed in the ‘poor’ category.

Rain alert in these parts of the country

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur at some places in Uttarakhand and Punjab. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many districts of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The Indian Meteorological Department said that rain is expected in these parts of the country from Monday to Friday (21 to 25 October).
