Not only this, Amitabh Bachchan does not stop here but lifts Jaya Bachchan on the stage itself and starts singing. Fans are elated after watching this video. In the clip shared by Lehren TV, Amitabh is seen performing his iconic song Mere Angne Mein from the film Lawaris. Dressed in a stunning black suit, Big B is performing in front of a packed live audience when Jaya enters the stage. What happens next is being discussed on social media. Amitabh lifts Jaya in his arms and twirls her around as he sings the cheeky lyrics, ‘Jiski biwi choti, uska bhi bada naam hai, godi me baitha lo, bachche ka kya kaam hai.’ The video also features loud laughter and applause from the audience. Fans flooded the internet with comments. ‘What an era this was,’ wrote a Reddit user. Another added, ‘This is a cute husband-wife moment.’ Amitabh and Jaya first met on the sets of Guddi and went on to work together in several iconic films including Silsila, Abhimaan and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. In an episode of a podcast with Simi Grewal in 1998, Jaya was asked if Amitabh is romantic. She laughingly replied, ‘No, not with me. I have started trouble. He is very shy.’ Amitabh agreed and joked, ‘Yes, it is a waste of time.’ Talking about the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Vettaiyaan, which was his Tamil debut, starring alongside Rajinikanth and Fahadh Fasil.
