Awareness on International Tiger Day: India, home to 3,682 tigers, is now a global leader in tiger conservation

hought indicator -: (Afzalgarh) -: On the occasion of International Tiger Day, Team Tiger Saving Committee launched an awareness campaign in village Devanandpur Garhi of Gram Panchayat Raipuriya, Block Kasampur Garhi (Afzalgarh), Tehsil Dhampur, Bijnor district, under which farmers working on the fields were made aware and it was told why Tiger Day is celebrated on 29th July. Team Tiger Saving Committee informed all of them about tigers and asked everyone to be very cautious whenever they work in the fields. Whenever you see a tiger, do not make noise; quietly move to one side so that the tiger feels that it is safe. And if the tiger ever comes into the field, it should not be surrounded from all sides; rather, all the people should come to one side so that the tiger goes back from where it came.
Team Tiger Savin Samiti is constantly creating awareness among people and all the villages adjoining the forest are being made aware. India has achieved remarkable success in tiger conservation and there are 3,682 tigers here. India has emerged as a global leader in tiger conservation, with 58 sanctuaries dedicated to this magnificent creature. He further said that tiger conservation is not just about saving the species.
         The increasing number of tigers also symbolizes the health of the forests where they live. He also urged the public to pledge to protect tigers and their ecosystems, which will also increase livelihood opportunities for local communities. India has not only saved its tigers but also created a rich ecosystem for them. Many communities across the country worship the tiger and in many tribal cultures the tiger is considered a brother. India is not only saving tigers; it is also setting an example for the world. With 58 tiger reserves and counting, India is leading the global conservation drive. The number of tigers has increased from 1411 to 3682, a result of strong governance and active public participation.
                International Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29. The day aims to unite all tiger-range countries in an effort to promote tiger conservation and management worldwide. This year, the theme is “Securing the future of tigers by putting indigenous peoples and local communities at the center.
