Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi inaugurating the Agro Export Conclave organised by PHD Chamber of Commerce

Report Shahid Ahmed,, The Agro Export Conclave organized by Uttarakhand PHD Chamber of Commerce at a hotel located on Rajpur Road in Dehradun was inaugurated by the state’s Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi by lighting the lamp. The Agriculture Minister also inspected the stalls set up at the venue and took information about the products.
In his address, Agriculture Minister Ganesh Joshi said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that such a thoughtful and visionary conference is being organized in the Devbhoomi of Uttarakhand. This is not just a platform for dialogue, but an initiative that opens new doors of opportunities and is an important step towards transforming our agriculture sector into an export-oriented power. He said that our state has immense potential for high value crops, organic products, medicinal plants, spices, millets and horticultural crops. Whether it is red rice of Pauri, turmeric of Chamoli, kidney beans of Almora or vegetables of Udham Singh Nagar, these products are now becoming popular not only in the country but also abroad.
The Agriculture Minister said that Uttarakhand, due to its biodiversity, fertile soil and clean environment, is a paradise of agricultural products in a natural way. Every product has a unique confluence of quality and purity. Today we are taking a pledge to deliver this material all over the world. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami, the Uttarakhand government, in collaboration with the central government, has started farmer producer organizations, agricultural technology mission, Mission Organic Uttarakhand and Scheme of Processing Parks etc. Our aim is not to limit the farmers to selling raw material, but to provide them value addition, branding and access to the global market. Important issues like exporting the state’s produce were also discussed in the conference.
On this occasion, Director of Bureau of Indian Standards Saurabh Tiwari, CGM of NABARD Pankaj Yadav, Chairman of PHD Chamber Hemant Kochhar, Ritesh Kumar Singh, Atul Srivastava etc. were present.
