The police’s crackdown against prostitution continues in Haridwar. On the instructions of SSP Pramod Singh Dobal, the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) busted another sex racket on Thursday.
Police raided the Delhi Guest House located in Satyam Vihar, Bhupatwala and caught 03 women and 02 men in objectionable condition. A Bijnor resident operator had leased the hotel and was running this illegal business, who fled from the spot.
The deals were done over the phone, women came from different places.
Police investigation has revealed that deals for prostitution were fixed on mobile, and women were supplied from other states of the country. The operator’s network was active for a long time, which was running the prostitution racket in a professional manner.
