St. Petersburg: Russian President Vladimir Putin made a big statement on Friday at the International Economic Forum (SPIEF) held in St. Petersburg. Putin said that Russia is not demanding Ukraine’s surrender in the current war. He asked Kiev to accept the ‘ground reality’.   ( ground reality)    Putin said that the people of Russia and Ukraine are the same and according to this, the whole of Ukraine belongs to Russia. He mentioned an old rule, according to which, ‘Wherever a Russian soldier’s foot falls, that place becomes ours.’ Putin said these things in response to questions in which it was asked whether Russia wants unconditional surrender from Ukraine in the same way as US President Donald Trump has demanded from Iran.

Putin also spoke on Israel-Iran tension. He said that the conflict in Ukraine is completely different from the ongoing tension in the Middle East. Putin said that a solution can be found for both the countries, which is acceptable to both. He hoped for help from the countries of the Global South and the Middle East in this matter. Putin said that the security of one country should not be at the expense of other countries. Also, he said that Iran has the right to nuclear energy. Putin said that he has spoken to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Iranian President Pezeshkian and former US President Trump on this issue. He said, ‘I shared Russia’s point of view. Hopefully our proposals will be implemented.’

Russia attacks 2 cities of Ukraine with drones

Zelensky appeals to put more pressure on Russia
