Major accident on Kedarnath walking route, many people got trapped in landslide, two died

Rudraprayag. A major accident took place on the Kedarnath footpath. Two people are reported dead in this accident, while three people are said to be injured. The rescue team rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital. One person is missing, who is being searched for. Two days ago also a person died on the Kedarnath footpath due to heavy rains.

According to the information, debris and stones fell from the hill near Jangalchatti ghat on the Kedarnath Dham footpath today, Wednesday, June 18, at around 11.20 am. Five people were trapped under this debris. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police force posted at Jangalchatti outpost and the DDRF team reached the spot and started the rescue operation.

It is being told that some people fell into the ditch due to the debris, who were rescued and brought up. According to the information received so far, 3 people have been injured, out of which one woman has minor injuries and two men have serious injuries. All the injured have been referred to Gaurikund. Apart from this, two people have died. Apart from this, one person is also missing. The names and addresses of all are being ascertained. The movement of passengers is being done under police protection at this place.
