Rudraprayag: Another big accident has happened in Kedarnath (Kedarnath ) Dham in Uttarakhand. Two persons died while three others including a woman were injured in a landslide near Junglechatti Barsati Nala on the walking path to Kedarnath temple on Wednesday. Let us tell you that two days ago also a person died on the Kedarnath walking path due to heavy rains.
Pilgrims fell into the ditch
According to the information received from the Superintendent of Police office of Rudraprayag, the people who were victims of the landslide that happened around 11 am have been taken for treatment. According to the information, due to debris and stones falling from the hill above near the rainy drain, some pilgrims and palanquin operators passing through this area got caught in it and fell down into the ditch. On receiving the information, the police and the teams of the District Disaster Management Force reached the spot and brought the people who had fallen into the ditch up. One of the injured women has suffered minor injuries while two men have been seriously injured who have been sent to Gaurikund for treatment.
Appeal to devotees to be cautious
The victims of the accident are being identified. Meanwhile, the movement of pilgrims is being done in the presence of police. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the coming days as well, in such a situation, the administration has appealed to the pilgrims who have set out on the yatra to be cautious.
