Karate competition organized in Haridwar on June 23, players up to under-21 will participate

Haridwar. On the occasion of Olympic Day, a one-day Karate Competition (Kata/Kumite) is being organized by the Sports Department Uttarakhand Dehradun and under the aegis of District Sports Office Haridwar. This competition will start on June 23, 2025 at 8:00 am in Multipurpose Hall, Hockey Stadium, Roshanabad.

Boys and girls up to the under-21 age group can participate in the competition. Karate competition will be organized in six age groups:

Age groups of the competition:

1. Under-10

2. Under-10–11

3. Under-12–13

4. Under-14–15

5. Under-16–18

6. Under-21

Documents required for participants:

Birth Certificate or Aadhar Card

Two latest passport size photographs

The aim of the competition is to promote the Olympic spirit, healthy competition and awareness about sports among the youth.
