Washington: Amid the ongoing conflict (Conflict) between Iran and Israel, a big statement by US President Donald Trump has come to the fore. He has said that Iran and Israel should make a deal, just like India and Pakistan did. There will be peace between Israel and Iran soon too!
What did Trump say?
Trump said, ‘Iran and Israel should make a deal, and they will make a deal, just like I did with India and Pakistan. In that case, using trade with the United States can bring logic, harmony and prudence to the conversation with two of the best leaders who were able to make and stop decisions quickly!’
Trump said, ‘During my first term, Serbia and Kosovo had been at loggerheads for several decades, and this long-running conflict was ready to turn into a war. I stopped it (Biden has damaged long-term prospects with some very stupid decisions, but I will fix it again!).’
Trump said, ‘Another case is Egypt and Ethiopia, and their fight over a giant dam that is having an impact on the magnificent Nile River. Because of my intervention, at least for now, there is peace, and it will stay that way! Likewise, there will be peace between Israel and Iran soon! There are many calls and meetings happening now. I do a lot, and never take credit for anything, but that’s okay, people understand. Make the Middle East great again!’
Why is there a conflict between Iran and Israel?
It is not that Iran and Israel were enemies of each other from the beginning. In fact, before 1979, there was a good relationship between the imperial government of Iran and Israel and there was also oil trade and secret military cooperation between the two. But after the Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979, the new government led by Ayatollah Khomeini considered Israel an illegal Jewish state and adopted a hostile policy against it. Iran started supporting the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) and other anti-Israel groups, after which the relations between the two countries became bitter.
The Iranian government believes that Israel has occupied the land of Palestine. That is why Iran has vowed to destroy Israel. At the same time, Israel is fighting for its existence and supremacy. Israel believes that Iran can develop nuclear weapons, which can pose a threat to it. Israel’s attack on Iran’s nuclear bases in June 2025 and Iran’s “True Promise 3” missile attack have further deepened this conflict.
