Kanpur: A case of love jihad    (love jihad)    has come to light from Kanpur in UP. Here a Muslim youth trapped a Hindu girl by lying and hid his identity. When the girl put pressure on him for marriage, he started asking her to convert and remove the Om symbol.

What is the whole matter?
The matter is of Nawabganj police station area. In Kanpur, a Muslim youth befriended a girl on social media by changing his name and then tried to force her to convert. Actually, a woman from Nawabganj police station area has alleged that the youth who became a friend by the name Sonu on Insta and WhatsApp actually hid his identity.

The victim alleges that when she put pressure on the youth for marriage, the accused started pressuring her to convert and remove the Om symbol tattooed on her hand. According to the victim, the real name of the youth is Sartaj. Who befriended her by changing his name 9 months ago.

It is being told that the young man did not offer Namaaz even once for several months during this time, but for the last few days he has been pressuring the victim to remove the Om symbol. On Wednesday, after getting information about the case, people of Hindu organization reached with the victim and complained about the matter to the police officials. On the other hand, ADCP Central says that on the complaint of the victim, a case will be registered against the accused and he will be arrested as soon as possible.

Statement of the victim girl came out
The victim girl said, ‘A Muslim boy has been in a relationship with me for one and a half years. He told me his name wrong in the beginning and hid his identity. He talked to me on WhatsApp by keeping the Hindu name Sonu and when we met, I came to know that he is a Muslim. But by then I had become attached. He also told me that he would marry me. Because of him, I left my house and was living with him on rent in Nawabganj for 10 months. When I asked him to marry me after living together for 10 months, he started telling me that I will have to become a Muslim and remove the ‘Om’ from my hand.’

The victim said, ‘When I refused to convert, he left me and ran away. His name is Sartaj Siddiqui. He owns a furniture factory. I want action to be taken against him and he should be punished.’
