Lucknow – A shocking case has come to light from the district Jalaun of the state, where after the death of the advocate who was pleading on behalf of the Forest Department in the Civil Court of Tehsil Kalpi, the Forest Department, bypassing all the rules, appointed the son of the deceased advocate as the advocate of the Forest Department. It is worth noting that in the cases going on in the courts, there is a rule for various government departments to appoint their advocates to present their side on behalf of the government, for which the rules have been duly issued by the government, according to which the advocate is appointed by the department, but this has not been done by the DFO of Jalaun district of the state. Advocate Brijbhushan Srivastava was appointed by the Forest Department in the Kalpi Civil Court of Jalaun a long time ago, but Brijbhushan Srivastava died in the year 2022 due to illness, after which the Forest Department, keeping the government rules aside, without any release, appointed Brijbhushan’s son Divyaswaroop Srivastava as its advocate on behalf of the department. According to sources, this appointment made by the Forest Department Jalaun by keeping the government rules aside has involved a huge amount of fraud. The amount has been collected, the testimony to which is given by none other than the illegal appointment of an advocate by the department itself. At present, the department is maintaining silence in the matter.
