Beijing: Pakistan, ( Pakistan) which is facing economic crisis, is not refraining from making baseless statements on the Kashmir issue. India has clearly said that Jammu and Kashmir (PoK also) was, is and will remain an integral part of India. Despite this, Pakistan is repeatedly raising the Kashmir issue on various forums. Now Pakistan has appealed to China regarding Kashmir. Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari has met Chinese President Xi Jinping and raised the Kashmir issue in front of him.
China-Pak issued a joint statement
Actually, Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari is on a visit to China. Zardari raised the Kashmir issue during his talks with President Xi Jinping here. The joint statement issued by both the countries said- “The Pakistani side informed the Chinese side about the latest developments in the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. The Chinese side reiterated that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is a legacy of history and should be resolved in a fair and peaceful manner in accordance with the UN Charter, relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and bilateral agreements.”
China-Pakistan will increase cooperation
China and Pakistan have talked about increasing cooperation in the areas of joint training, exercises and military technology. The joint statement said- “Both sides emphasized that strategic defense and security cooperation between China and Pakistan plays an important role in maintaining peace, stability and strategic balance in the region. Both sides will increase cooperation in the areas of joint training, exercises and military technology.”
Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India – India
India has given a befitting reply to Pakistan on various platforms on the issue of Kashmir. Countering Pakistan’s false agenda, India has clearly said that Jammu and Kashmir was, is and will remain an integral part of India. India has also said that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is also an integral part of India.
