New Delhi: Controversy continues in the country regarding Hijab. The Karnataka High Court started hearing on this issue from Monday. During this, Kerala Governor and moderate Muslim leader Arif Mohammad Khan has said many important things about the hijab.
‘Women do not have the right to voice out in Shariat’
Arif Mohammad Khan said that some people who are arguing in the name of Hijab are repeatedly referring to Shariat. If Sharia is to be followed, then a Muslim should not even live in a country where Sharia is not applicable. In Islam, there is a veil over the voice of women too. The Shariat also states that a girl does not have the right to raise her voice in public. Accordingly, the girl who raised slogans of Allah Hu Akbar in Karnataka school is also wrong. If you have to follow the Shariat, then follow it completely or leave it.
‘Hijab not required in Islam’
Arif Mohammad Khan said that Islam has told in his book that hijab is not necessary in Islam. That is why the hair, string, kirpan of Sikhs cannot be compared with the hijab. He said that many people are angry with the end of triple talaq law in the country. That is why such conspiracies are being done.
The Governor of Kerala said, ‘Why don’t we see whether Muslim girls are getting education or not. How many girls are going to school? How many girls are getting selected in IAS-IPS and government jobs. The country has a population of about 1.25 billion. In such a situation, by turning the camera towards a few women protesting, it cannot be said that this is everyone’s voice.
Arif Mohammad Khan also reacted to the statement of Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, in which Owaisi had said that one day a hijabi woman will become the Prime Minister of the country. He said that all these are deceiving things. Whomever the people of the country choose, he will become the Prime Minister of the country.
