Why was Russia removed?

The G-7 summit is being held in the German state of Bavaria. Developed countries along with the world are part of it, but for the last few years, India has also been participating in it. After all, why India is not a part of it and is not, even then in what capacity does it participate in it. What do you get from him? By the way, this time in the G-7 summit, these countries will decide on imposing some new sanctions on Russia on a large scale.

The seven rich and industrialized countries of the G-7 affect the whole world. It can be said that these seven countries affect 10 percent of the world’s population, 90 percent of the world’s population. Its conference will start from 26 June in Munich, Germany and will run till 28 June.

Last time when the G7 countries met, the aim was to deal with the corona virus, but this time the main issue is Russia. Many restrictions will be imposed on him. Together with the environment, other issues will be discussed. After all, what is this G-7 and why is India not a part of it?

Which countries are included
G7 means a group consisting of the strongest economies of the world, which includes America, Britain, France, Canada, Japan, Italy and Germany. Its main goal is to protect human rights, maintain law and sustainable development.

The group considers itself “Community of Values” i.e. a community that respects values. Its main principles are the protection of liberty and human rights, democracy and the rule of law, and prosperity and sustainable development.

when did it start
This organization was started on 25 March 1973. Then it was a group of 06 member countries. Canada joined it the next year. In 1998, Russia also joined this group and it became G-7 from G-8. Each member country in turn presides over the group and hosts the two-day annual summit.

Why was Russia removed?
Initially, Russia was also a part of this organization, but then there was a difference of opinion in the countries about it. Russia annexed Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula of Ukraine in 2014. Russia was expelled from the group immediately thereafter. Let us tell here that there were 8 member countries in this group when it was with Russia and it was called G-8.

A few years ago it was called G8 but Russia was expelled from it in 2015, after that it became G7.
Why is China not a member?
A question also comes here that if this organization belongs to economically strong countries, then why is China not named in it, while that country is being called the second largest economy of the world. The answer is that per capita income in terms of GDP is still very low in China because of their large population. This is the reason why China is not being made a part of it.

There is talk of joining India in the organization
India too could not join the G-7, but now its global identity has increased, and relations with foreign countries have also improved. This is the reason that India has been invited to the conference as a guest nation for the last few years. Apart from India, Australia, Korea and South Africa have also been invited as guest countries.
