Not wanting to become a Rajya Sabha member?
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar clearly said on Thursday, ‘When I became an MLA, I wanted to become an MP. After that I contested the Lok Sabha elections and also became an MP. Later I became MP for 5 times and was also a minister in the center. After that there was no desire. Then when the whole equation was in our favor, then people made me the Chief Minister. Now I have no such desire that I become an MP for Rajya Sabha.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar told that what he has not done for the development of Bihar and is still doing it. Nitish Kumar also clarified why he is currently visiting his old parliamentary constituency. He said, ‘I am roaming in my area these days because I have done a lot of development work. I keep reviewing the development work done by me and take feedback from the people about what is the desire and what is left in the minds of the people. In this episode, after a long time, if I get time, I am going to my old parliamentary constituency.
Nitish Kumar said that he was trying to make flood a district since 1992, but then the people of Bakhtiyarpur protested that he did not want to be separated from Patna. The Chief Minister said that if floods are made a district, then many more districts can be formed, after which the development work will be accelerated.
