New Delhi. The process of arrival of heads of states, global leaders and dignitaries from all over the world has started in Delhi to participate in the G-20 summit in India. US President Joe Biden will also be in Delhi on Friday. During this tour, he will also hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday itself. US President Joe Biden will be welcomed by Union Minister VK Singh at Delhi Airport. Earlier, many guests including Mauritius PM Praveen Kumar Jugnauth, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have reached India.
Sources have said that clean energy, defence, high-technology and other issues will be discussed between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Biden. They can discuss climate change, economic cooperation and multilateral development bank reform agenda. Ongoing bilateral cooperation in various key areas is likely to be reviewed. According to the statement issued from the White House, President Joe Biden will participate in the G-20 leaders’ summit on September 9 and 10. He will visit Rajghat, the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, on Sunday (September 10). After that he will go to Vietnam.

President Biden will call for peace at the G-20 summit
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said President Biden will call for a just and durable peace founded on respect for the principles of territorial integrity and sovereignty. During the G-20 summit, he will present his views regarding the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter. There is also a possibility that he may also put forward the issue of his support to Ukraine.(Ukraine) 

Drone deal, jet engine, nuclear agreement, visa issue can be discussed
American officials have said that the issue of war between Russia and Ukraine may also come up during the discussions between India and America. America has been continuously vocal in favor of Ukraine regarding this war. Apart from this, India and America can discuss many other issues related to bilateral cooperation. There is a possibility that both the countries will discuss taking new steps together. Officials say that other aspects like drone deal, jet engine, nuclear agreement, visa issue, new consulate will be discussed. An academic program for Indian students will also be discussed.
