The police shot him in the leg and injured him( leg )

Amethi: Four members of a family were shot dead in Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh. Chandan Verma, the accused of killing a Dalit teacher and his family, was arrested on Friday. The police had an encounter with him on Friday night. During the encounter, Chandan was shot in the right leg. ( leg )  The encounter took place while he was being taken to recover the pistol involved in the murder.
The encounter took place in Mohanganj police station area
He was going to fire at the police after snatching the inspector’s pistol. The police fired in self-defense. The bullet hit Chandan’s right leg. The police have admitted Chandan to Tiloi CHC. Chandan is accused of killing 4 members of a family in Ahorwa Bhavani of Amethi. The encounter took place in Mohanganj police station area.

Arrested near Jewar toll plaza
The police has started investigation on this whole matter. Amethi SP Anoop Kumar Singh said, ‘Four people were killed in an unfortunate incident on Thursday. The main accused Chandan Maurya has been arrested by the STF near Jewar toll plaza when he was trying to escape to Delhi.

Had a love affair with the woman
The police officer said that the accused was in a love affair with the woman for the last one and a half years. There was a rift for some time. Due to this he was under stress. That’s why he committed the crime on Thursday. He shot dead four people of the same family (husband, wife and their two children). Weapons have not been recovered from the spot yet. Further legal action is going on.

The accused confessed the crime
SP Anoop Kumar Singh said that the main accused Chandan Maurya has been arrested by the STF near Jewar toll plaza. During interrogation, the accused has confessed his crime. He has told that he had a love affair with the woman. Due to this he was under stress. He committed this crime under stress.

After the incident he also tried to kill himself

SP Anoop Kumar Singh said that the accused was caught near Jewar toll plaza when he was trying to escape to Delhi. After the incident he also tried to kill himself but the bullet missed.

During police interrogation, the accused told that he was under stress due to love affair with the woman. He could not control himself, he shot every person who came in front of him.
