New Delhi: Even during the flight, many such incidents come to the fore which become very much discussed. One such case has come to light from an IndiGo flight when a loader, who was carrying luggage on a flight from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi, fell asleep and slept there. After this, when the plane reached Abu Dhabi, it was found there. When the officials saw him, they were all shocked, he was immediately sent for a medical check-up.
Actually, this incident happened in Indigo flight 6E-1835, the flight took off from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi at 3 am on Sunday morning. All this happened when this loader fell asleep in the cargo compartment itself and he slept behind the luggage, then the flight was parked in Mumbai. After this, he was found safe on reaching Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The information about this entire matter has been given by the officials of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Officials, however, said that the cargo door was locked and the plane fell asleep when it took off from the Mumbai airport, but by then the flight had taken off. Upon landing, Abu Dhabi authorities conducted a medical examination of the loader and his physical condition was found to be stable and normal. It was also told that the loader was an unloading worker.
DGCA Managing Director Arun Kumar said that after getting necessary clearances from the authorities in Abu Dhabi, he was sent back to Mumbai as a passenger by the same flight. At present, some personnel have been removed from duty pending investigation in connection with the incident. At the same time, when asked about the incident, an IndiGo spokesperson said that we are aware of the incident and an inquiry has been ordered in this regard.
